Digital Vault

Memory Banx offers encrypted digital vault storage for sensitive documents and media. While we use AES-256-GCM encryption and implement strong security measures, please understand:

• We are not a legal document service. Storing a will or legal document in your vault does not replace proper legal filing with courts or attorneys.
• Encryption keys are derived from your account. If you lose access to your account and cannot recover it, vault contents may become inaccessible.
• We are not insured for the value of documents stored in vaults. For irreplaceable legal or financial documents, always maintain copies with your attorney or in a physical safe deposit box.

Legacy & Beneficiary Features

Our Dead Man's Switch and beneficiary designation features allow you to specify who should receive access to your vault and content if you become inactive. Important disclaimers:

• This is not a legal will or trust. Beneficiary designations within Memory Banx do not carry legal weight equivalent to a properly executed will.
• Inactivity detection is based on app usage patterns. False triggers are possible (e.g., extended hospital stays). We include multiple verification steps before transferring access.
• We cannot guarantee delivery. If a beneficiary's contact information is outdated, we may be unable to reach them.

Recommendation

Use Memory Banx vaults and legacy features as a complement to, not a replacement for, proper estate planning with qualified legal professionals.
