Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This policy outlines what is and isn't allowed on Memory Banx. Our goal is to maintain a safe, respectful platform for preserving memories.

Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share content that:

• Is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
• Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors in any way.
• Is pornographic or sexually explicit.
• Promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
• Constitutes harassment, bullying, or threats against individuals.
• Contains hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Is spam, misleading, or fraudulent.
• Contains malware or malicious code.

Prohibited Behavior

You may not:

• Create fake memorials for living people without their consent.
• Use the platform to stalk, harass, or intimidate others.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' accounts.
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without authorization.

Memorial-Specific Guidelines

• Memorial pages should be created in good faith to honor the deceased.
• Content on memorial pages should be respectful and appropriate.
• If you are not a family member or close associate of the deceased, do not claim or modify their memorial.

Enforcement

We review reported content and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy. Severity and repeated violations factor into our response. We will always attempt to contact the account holder before permanent suspension.
